This Privacy Policy describes how Tailor ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our service.
Google Sign-In and Gmail Access
Tailor uses Google Sign-In for authentication. If you choose to connect your Gmail account, we access your Gmail data using the read-only scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly) solely for the purpose of finding receipts and order confirmations. We extract purchase details from these emails to build your digital closet.
Our Gmail access is strictly read-only. We do not modify, send, or delete any emails. We do not access, read, or store your personal emails beyond what is necessary to identify and extract purchase information from receipts and order confirmations.
Data we access
When you connect your Gmail account, we access your emails using the gmail.readonly scope, which provides read-only access. We access emails solely to identify and extract purchase and receipt details for closet ingestion. We do not send, delete, or modify any emails. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account security settings.
How we use data
We use the extracted purchase and receipt information to build and maintain your digital closet within the Tailor service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the Tailor service.
Your Rights and Controls
You can revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account settings. This will immediately stop our access to your Gmail data.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, please email us at office@tailorapp.co. We will process your deletion request within 30 days.
Data Retention
We store extracted receipt fields and minimal email metadata necessary for the service. We do not store full email bodies unless necessary for ingestion and processing.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active or until you request deletion. Upon account deletion, all personal data will be permanently removed from our systems.
